Who we are
Ultra is provided by ziggy smith, trading as ultra uk (“Ultra”, “we”, “us”). We are the data controller for the personal data described in this notice — we decide why and how it is processed. You can reach us at hello@ultra.app.
What we collect and why
- Account data — email address, login credentials and profile name, so we can create and secure your account.
- Membership and order data — your subscription plan, status and renewal dates, so we can give you the access you paid for. Card details are handled by our payment provider, not by us.
- App content you give us — goals, food preferences, meals and recipes you log, weight entries, photos you upload and messages you send the Ultra coach, so the product and the coach can be useful to you. Some of this may relate to your health; where required we rely on your explicit consent, given by choosing to enter it.
- Marketing data — your email address and which list you joined, so we can send the Sunday Reset you asked for.
- Technical data — IP address, device and browser information, and basic usage and error logs, to keep Ultra secure, working and improving.
Legal bases
We process account, membership and app content data to perform our contract with you. We rely on our legitimate interests for security, fraud prevention, service improvement and support. We rely on consent for marketing emails and for health-related information you choose to share; you can withdraw consent at any time. We process some data to comply with legal obligations such as tax and accounting.
Who we share it with
- Paddle.com — our online reseller and Merchant of Record for all orders. Paddle processes payments, subscription management, invoicing, tax compliance and refunds, and acts as a controller of the order data it collects.
- Service providers — hosting, database and authentication providers, AI model providers used to power the Ultra coach, email delivery and error-monitoring tools, all acting on our instructions.
- Professional advisers such as accountants and lawyers, and authorities where the law requires it.
We do not sell your personal data.
International transfers
Some of our providers are outside the UK/EEA. Where that happens we rely on UK/EU standard contractual clauses or an adequacy decision to keep your data protected.
How long we keep it
We keep account and app content data while your account is open and for up to 12 months after you close it, so you can come back. Marketing data is kept until you unsubscribe. Order and tax records are kept for 7 years as the law requires. After that, data is deleted or anonymised.
Security
We use appropriate technical and organisational measures: encryption in transit, encrypted storage, row-level access rules so members can only reach their own data, least-privilege access for administrators, and monitoring of failures.
Your rights
You have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict or object to our processing of your personal data, to portability, and to withdraw consent. Email hello@ultra.app and we’ll respond within one month. If you’re in the UK you can also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office; in the EEA, to your local supervisory authority.
Cookies
We use essential cookies and local storage to keep you signed in and to remember your preferences. We do not use advertising cookies. You can clear or block cookies in your browser, though parts of Ultra may then stop working.
